Family photos in Bossier City
Family photos in Louisiana usually come down to the weather: too hot, too humid, too windy, or raining the one Saturday everyone is free. My studio in Bossier City is indoors, so the session happens on the day you booked. Here's how it works and what it costs.
Studio or outdoors?
The studio fits up to 6 people. My backdrop is about five feet wide, which is right for a family of four or five plus a grandparent or the dog. Studio light stays the same all session, so little kids can take a break and we pick up where we left off.
Bigger groups go outdoors. Seven or more people won't fit the backdrop without the edges showing, so extended-family sessions happen at one outdoor spot in Shreveport-Bossier. I'll suggest a place with shade and room to spread out, and plan the time around the light.
Sessions and prices

Pets are welcome at no charge. Extra people in the studio are $15 each. A $50 non-refundable deposit holds your date and comes off the total. Galleries are delivered within 2 weeks. All prices include tax. Military families (active duty, reservists, veterans and spouses) get 10% off full sessions.
Mini sessions
A few times a year I run short themed sessions on a set: 10 to 15 minutes and a smaller set of images. They're a good way to try the studio before booking a full session.
- Christmas minis: Saturday, November 21 and Sunday, November 22, 2026. 15 minutes, 8 edited images, up to 6 people. $125 for the first 12 bookings, then $150.
- Mardi Gras minis: January 9 and 10, 2027. 10 minutes, 5 images, $95.
- Valentine's minis: January 30 and 31, 2027. 15 minutes, 8 images, $150.
What to wear
- Pick two or three colors and let everyone wear them in different shades. Matching shirts look dated fast.
- Solid colors and soft textures (knits, linen, denim) photograph better than big logos or tight stripes.
- Dress the youngest kids last, and bring a snack that won't stain.
- Shoes show in full-length photos. Clean sneakers are fine; flip-flops usually aren't.
How a session goes
- You book a time and send the deposit.
- I text you the address, parking and a short what-to-wear note.
- We start with the whole family, then parents, kids, and any combination you want.
- Your private online gallery arrives within two weeks. You can add extra images or the full gallery there.
I'm a new studio and I'll tell you that up front. You'll see real sessions from my studio on the website and Instagram, and I'll only post your family's photos if you sign a model release saying yes.
Plan your family session
Tell me how many people are coming (pets count too) and when you'd like photos. I reply within one day, in English or Spanish. A $50 deposit holds your time.
