Military family photos near Barksdale AFB
I'm Erik, a former Air Force reservist out of Barksdale. I know military schedules move: orders come in, dates shift, and the photo you meant to take before the move doesn't happen. My studio in Bossier City is close to the base and indoors, so a session can happen on short notice and in any weather.
Sessions families ask for
- Before a PCS: a family session in the place you're about to leave, or in the studio if packing has taken over the house.
- Before a deployment: family portraits, and individual portraits of each kid with the parent who's leaving.
- Uniform portraits: a clean studio portrait in uniform for a promotion, a new assignment, or the family wall.
- Retirement and milestone portraits: a studio session after a ceremony, in uniform with family.
Right now I photograph portrait sessions only. I don't cover ceremonies or homecomings on base yet, and I won't promise access I can't arrange.
Prices and the military discount

10% off full sessions for active duty, Guard and reservists, veterans and spouses. The discount doesn't apply to mini sessions, which are already priced low.
A $50 non-refundable deposit holds your date and comes off the total. One free reschedule with 48 hours' notice. If orders change your date with less notice, tell me and we'll work it out. All prices include tax.
Uniform tips
- Follow your branch's dress and appearance rules. You know them better than I do, and photos last.
- Bring the uniform on a hanger and put it on at the studio, with a lint roller.
- Check ribbons, badges and name tape before we start. Fixing them in editing takes longer than fixing them in person.
Your photos stay yours
I won't post photos of service members or their families without a signed release, and I'm glad to leave out name tapes, unit patches or anything else you'd rather not share online. Nothing on this site is endorsed by the Air Force or the Department of Defense.
