Quinceañera photos in Bossier City
The quinceañera portrait session is the calm part of the celebration. It happens weeks before the party, in the gown, with time to get every look right. Here is how sessions work at my studio in Bossier City, what they cost, and how to plan around your party date.
When to book
Most families do the portrait session one to three months before the party. That leaves time to use the photos on invitations, a welcome sign or a slideshow, and it means the gown fitting is done. If invitations go out early, book early: the Signature session includes five edited sneak peeks within 72 hours, sized for invitations and save-the-dates.
Where the photos are taken
Sessions start in my indoor studio in Bossier City, so weather, heat and wind don't decide whether the gown looks right. The set is decorated with pieces from my family's party-rental business: pipe-and-drape with sheer panels, a settee, garland, lanterns and string lights. If your party décor comes from the same shop, your portraits can match the party colors.
The Signature session adds one outdoor location in Shreveport-Bossier. We pick it together. Some gardens and private grounds require a permit or don't allow photo sessions, so I check the rules before we commit to a spot.

What to bring
- The gown, plus any shoes, crown (tiara), jewelry and the last doll if your family uses one.
- One or two more outfits: a casual look, a second dress, or something that shows her personality.
- Anything meaningful: a rosary, a family photo, flowers, the Bible or cushion from the Mass.
- Someone to help with the gown. A long train and layers take two people to arrange.
Plan hair and makeup for the morning of the session. If her stylist is doing a trial before the party, the trial day can be a good day for the shoot.
Spanish or English, or both
I'm fluent in Spanish. Grandparents, parents and the quinceañera can all follow along in the language they're comfortable with, and your gallery, messages and contract can be in Spanish.
What I don't offer yet
I'm a new studio, so I'll be direct about this. Right now I photograph the portrait session only. I don't cover the Mass or the party itself yet, and the full court (damas and chambelanes) won't fit on my studio backdrop. If you need party coverage, book a dedicated event photographer for that day and use the portrait session for the formal portraits.
About photo use
Your daughter is under 18, so a parent signs the booking form. I only share photos from your session on my website or social media if you say yes on a separate model release. Saying no doesn't change anything about your session.
Ask about your quince date
Tell me the party date and which session you're thinking about. I reply within one day, in English or Spanish. A $100 deposit holds your session date.
